  1. Determine Highest Need Geographic Areas or Overdose Hot Spots in your Community
    1. Since Medication Needs to be Stored Indoors, Consider Buildings That Are Either High Risk Themselves, or Have Long Hours of Public Access
      1. We are encouraging organizations to label their cabinets to assist in their long-term management. For instance, if you have a phone number citizens can call if a cabinet needs to be refilled with Naloxone, that will lessen concerns of empty cabinets going unattended for days/weeks/months
        1. If you have a Crisis Line or Help Line for People suffering from Addiction, It is a good practice to put that information right on the cabinet as well.
